Peter Lunio- Managing Partner

Previously a Director in RSM Consulting Practice (RSM is the 7th largest professional services firm in the UK. Fees £300m, 4000 staff) Peter led RSM Social Housing Practice (Fee income £5m and 160 SH clients) & Consulting Team. He brings a wealth of both strategic/operational knowledge and expertise in business reviews; programme management and outsourcing as well as business development.  He is also considered to be a subject matter expert in social housing.

As an MBA graduate, he has previously worked with Ernst & Young and LogicaCMG and has over 15 years’ experience in international consulting, working with clients such as 3M, Black & Decker, Boots the Chemist, Chevron Texaco and BT. Peter has also held senior operational roles with Colgate Palmolive and RS Components.

Peter is a leading authority on the key trends in VFM, cost reduction and Digital Inclusion, having published many articles in leading journals on the subject, and has been a guest speaker at many conferences He has  a number of Non-Executive roles, having recently been selected as a Non-Executive to the Epic Housing Association Board and Bradford University.

 


George Powell – Strategic Performance Partner

 George is a qualified chartered accountant, holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance and currently sits on Black Country Housing Group’s Audit Committee.    George was previously a management consultant for RSM UK and was responsible for running their social housing back office benchmarking service for over five years which had over 30+ clients.

 

 

 

 


 Mikel Llakmani – AI/Analytics Partner

Mikel holds a bachelor degree in Economics and a minor in Mathematics with statistical concentration.  He has significant experience in econometric modeling, regression analysis, data analytics, and artificial intelligence.  Experienced in both the public and financial sector of managing, formatting, and analysing databases using statistical methods. He has also significant expertise in the application of statistical tools such as STATA and R as well as developing bespoke Business Dashboards using R Shiney. Previously worked for Deloitte.

 

 


Jason Kingston – Subject Matter Expert – Lean Process Redesign/Business Intelligence

 Jason Kingston is an MBA graduate who has almost 30 years’ experience across a number of Not for Profit as well as commercial sectors, with the last 10 years being in the social housing sector.  His expertise covers understanding organisational processes, structures and operational needs and how these should be redesigned and reported on to enable data-driven decisions.  In his last three roles, Jason was responsible for corporate reporting and process improvement.

Jason had responsibility for business intelligence, analysis, risk, insurance and performance reporting whilst at Salix Homes a mid-size housing association ( Turnover £47.5m )  before leading a team of over 20 business analysts at The Guinness Partnership ( Turnover £335.4m )  until February 2018. He also held the role of Business Intelligence Partner at Your Housing Group, overseeing the production of regular board and operational reports, in addition to corporate productivity reporting on specific business functions.

Jason is also is a process redesign expert and is a qualified Lean  Six Sigma expert and specialises in delivering process improvement knowledge transfer to his clients. He is particularly proud of his involvement in delivering ‘Project UP’ at The Guinness Partnership, which led to an increase in responsive repairs operative productivity by almost 50% within 6 months.  As well as implementing a new  KPI dashboard,  to ensure the operational concepts of process control with increased productivity, where sustainable.

 


Jim Muir – Strategic Business  Advisor

Jim is a Chartered Accountant and brings significant consulting and board experience to IwP having held partner positions in international professional services firms, most recently as Head of Financial Services in RSM UK, and board positions in financial services businesses.

Throughout his career, Jim has delivered a number of large-scale projects which have transformed organisations’ performance through, for example, cost-reduction, merger and acquisitions or revenue growth through digital/ technology-led performance improvement initiatives.

As a business coach/advisor, he has also worked with senior teams to shape long-term growth strategies and deliver sustainable excellence in business performance by identifying and implementing plans to maximise new commercial opportunities.

 


Megin Shehi – Analytics Consultant

Megin is a graduate in Economics/Statistics.  She has significant experience in econometric modelling, regression analysis, and data analytics. Megin also has significant expertise in the application of statistical tools such as STATA, R, Python, and Oracle Crystal Ball.  She has previously worked in the analytics department of the  Financial Regulatory Authority in Albania and as an Assistant to the Professor of Econometrics at the American University in Bulgaria. She is currently studying the Imperial College in London for   master’s degree in Economics and Strategy. She brings significant analytics and machine learning expertise to the team and is passionate about helping clients develop these capabilities.
